Family Information and Services Hub

Transparent Feedback, Co-Production and Annual Reports

A key feature of the Local Offer is the ability to give feedback about the range of services and information available. There is an expectation that this will inform commissioning of services.

We want your Local Offer to be as transparent as possible, so you can see what changes we're making, and why we're making them.

The Local Offer steering group has been set up to ensure that changes are made in a co-productive way, involving parents, carers and young people.

Each year we will publish an Annual Report along with details of the feedback we have received. To view the previous annual reports and the Hampshire Parent Carer Network survey results, please look at the documents on the right of this page.

Who can give feedback?

You can!

Anyone can give us feedback, whether they are a parent, carer, young person, professional or service provider.

Any feedback will enable us to make this valuable resource even better for all families in Hampshire! Where feedback refers to service provision this is fed back to commissioning teams.

What can I give feedback on?

You can let us know:

  • if you can't find what you're looking for,
  • if you have feedback about the website in general,
  • about services available in Hampshire,
  • about the accuracy of information listed,
  • if you would like to be involved with developing and reviewing Hampshire's Local Offer,
  • anything you'd like to share with us.
How can I give feedback?

To give feedback about the Local Offer website, the services available in Hampshire and the accuracy of information contained in individual local offers and articles on the site please complete the feedback form.  You can also access this via the "How to submit feedback" link on the right of this page.

The information you give us will be viewed by Hampshire County Council so that we can ensure that your comment is responded to.

More information on what the local offer should include is in the SEND Local Offer Regulations 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice 2015 - links for which can be found on the right of this page.

Local Offer Steering Group

The Local Offer Steering Group is comprised of representatives from across Hampshire County Council, as well as parents, carers and young people.

The Terms of Reference of the group, can be viewed on the right hand side of this page.

Please note that not all roles on the steering group are currently occupied.

What is the annual report?

Every local authority has a duty to publish an annual report on feedback about the local offer, showing what children, young people and parents have said about the local offer, and what the local authority has done in response to their comments.

All comments that are included in the reports are anonymous.

Focus Groups

In 2021 we will be launching new focus groups for the Local Offer. We will be inviting young people, parents and carers to get involved to help shape the future of your Local Offer, and we would love you to get involved.

Check back here for more information, and we will be publicising these widely across the County through local networks and contacts.
