Alternative therapies - a starting point

Accessing alternative, or complementary therapy, is becoming increasingly popular for a lot of people, though it is very much down to the individual as to what avenues they choose to go down. Depending on the attitude of your family doctor, they may be willing to refer you to an alternative therapist, though this if often dependent on funding provision is in place.

For more information on what the NHS can provide take at look at the NHS Directory of Complimentary and Alternative Therapists.
