Impartial Special Educational Needs and Disability Information, Advice and Support (SENDIAS) Service in Hampshire

Support for children and young people with educational needs and/or disability living in Hampshire, and their parents, changed in the new year.

In response to feedback from families, the service provides a single point of contact for children and young people with special educational needs and/or disability and their parents and carers.

Hampshire County Council, working with the five NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups in Hampshire, awarded a three-year contract to Core Assets Children's Services, to provide an impartial Special Educational Needs and Disability Information, Advice and Support (SENDIAS) Service in Hampshire.

Since 1st January 2019, this one service encompasses both Support4SEND (previously provided by Hampshire County Council), and Parent Voice (which was operated by The Rose Road Association).
