REMINDER - Flu vaccinations: people with learning disabilities

The leaflets on this page are aimed at people who have, or care for someone with, a learning disability. They provides easy to read advice on:

  • the flu virus and why you need a vaccine
  • signs of flu
  • flu jabs and where to get one

The best time to have a jab is in the autumn. You need a jab every year as flu can change each year.

People with learning disabilities and their carers can get a free flu jab from their doctor or pharmacist, because they may have more problems if they catch flu.
