Current sessions: Easter/spring 2024

You will now find the details of providers who are offering free places for eligible children over the holiday period. These are being provided through the DfE's Holiday Activity and Food Fund scheme. The list is updated regularly, so do check back and make direct contact with providers.

These fun and educational activity sessions are for vulnerable children and young people, which includes those eligible for free school meals as a minimum. Eligibility will be expanded where possible.

To find an activity, select your district and a list of local providers will be displayed. If you are unsure of your district, you can check this information by looking at the details on a council bill/ letter etc.

For further detail on where these providers are delivering HAF sessions, press 'show results in map' to view the page in map view. Only the providers on the display page will be featured on the map.

The HAF scheme is designed to provide as much local support as possible. The activity providers aim to be within walking distance of the local community or be close to public transport connections.

Once you have found a HAF provider that you and your child find interesting, you can make your booking by selecting their record and using the contact information or website details provided.

Activity providers will inform you of any additional items you may need to bring, for example welly boots. Once you have booked onto a session, feel free to get in touch with a HAF provider directly for further information.

Some providers running activity sessions will allow paying customers, who are not FSM eligible, to attend. If your child qualifies for free school meals, you should not be asked to make a payment.
