Special Educational Needs (SEN) banding framework - Consultation Now Open
A consultation is open regarding proposals to change the way that top-up funding is paid to state-funded mainstream schools to make provision for children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) who are subject to an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan. The purpose of the proposed change is to improve how the budget is allocated to mainstream schools to support children with an EHC plan in the most effective way possible.
The consultation is open until 6 December 2020. Further details can be found on the consultation page.
Hampshire Perspectives - Hampshire County Council's New Resident's Forum
The County Council is looking for local people to join this new forum to help shape the delivery of essential services, and support the County to get ‘back on its feet’ as we navigate through COVID-19. Anyone who lives in Hampshire and is over 18 can sign up.
Members will be asked for their feedback, on a regular basis, on issues that are important to local people. This, in turn, will help drive changes and improvements. Taking part should be quick and easy – short, five minute surveys, every 2-4 weeks, on a wide range of topics.
For further details, and to sign up, see our website: https://www.hants.gov.uk/hampshire-perspectives
