Kings Worthy Pre-School

Kings Worthy Pre School is a charity run Pre School. We are committed to an inclusive education for all children and aim to provide a learning environment which is flexible enough to meet the needs of all children.

Kings Worthy Pre-school provides early years education and childcare for children aged between 2 and 5 years old, in a safe, caring and fun environment. We support children's individual needs and give them the opportunity to choose from a range of continuous provision both inside and outside.

We offer family support as well as liaising with many varied professionals.

We have a well - established staff team, who work very effectively and we also have a very supportive committee.

We see Kings Worthy Pre School as the first stage in your child’s educational journey.  We strive to build on the excellent work you have already done as parents and to support you in helping your child develop his/her potential. We recognise the value of Early Years Education for all children but especially for those with Special Educational Needs and disabilities.

The Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) Amber Watson supports staff with assessments and observations, she will then liaise with relevant professional agencies that may be involved in a child’s development and implement a support plan with all involved.

Manager Olivia Kirkby has vast experience in supporting children with SEND and their families, she is there to support the (SENCO) through observations of children, attending meetings, making referrals, training staff and liaising with parents

Our Manager Olivia is also our settings Family Support Co-ordinator and supports parents with concerns such as sleeping, toileting and behaviour management and will signpost to relevant agencies for further support and skill if necessary.

Parent partnership is key and we ensure to promote this continuously within our setting.
