Citizens Advice Gosport provides free, confidential, independent and impartial advice to all.

Advice, information and signposting on issues including debt, welfare benefits, housing, employment and family.  Caseworkers are also available through our Hampshire Macmillan and Citizens Advice Service, who support those affected by cancer and our Money Advice Matters project, supporting those with debts affecting housing options.

No appointment is necessary, drop in opening times are below.

Citizens Advice Gosport offers support with Universal Credit.

Their trained advisers can help you to:

  • Set-up your Universal Credit account

  • Complete your claim to-dos

  • Verify your identity

  • Make sure you’re providing the right evidence to the Jobcentre

  • Understand what Universal Credit will mean for you
