The Wendy House cares for children aged 3 months to 8 years, and are open from 0730 - 1800 Monday to Friday for 50 weeks of the year (excluding Bank holidays and two weeks at Christmas)
The Wendy House Nursery is situated in a conservation area in Brockhampton Road, 5 minutes away from Havant town center. The building is an old gate keeper's house which has now been converted into a homely environment for your children to come and enjoy the experience of learning through play.
The Wendy House consists of five stimulating rooms. We have three rooms upstairs, which we have for our under 2 years 9 months. The downstairs has two main play rooms, a bathroom and an office/kitchen. The pre-school children are based here up until they transition to school. We have several gardens for the children to play and engage in. We have our main soft-top play garden which with its colourful and imaginative play areas, captures a child’s attention instantly. We have our courtyard area, with the opportunity to grow flowers, enhance imagination and discover endless development opportunities. We have our back fully enclosed Garden, with our beautiful Shepherds hut in, allowing children to have access to quiet time or Storytime. Lastly, we have our side garden with a little play house, for the younger children allowing opportunities to discover and develop.
The Wendy House Nursery is registered by OFSTED. The Nursery complies with the latest regulations. We can accommodate up to 34 children a day this consists of 14 babies and 20 pre-school. In the school holidays we can take up to 8 year olds.

We are a all inclusive day nursery, supporting all if not most children with Special Educational needs and/or disability. To strive to help with their development assisting and supporting them in their learning and development. We liase with outside agencies and work together with our SENco to get the best out of every child who needs support where they may be lacking in an area of development.
