Offering services to:
  • Children 0-5
Carescheme type:
  • Day nursery

Dimension Childcare is situated in the grounds of Horndean Technology College. We have been providing childcare on site for over 25 years and opened our baby section in 2007. In 2018 we refurbished the bungalow at the front of the school site for babies, allowing them to have their own self-contained and secure area. Toddlers, Preschool and Out of Schools remain in the bigger building at the rear of the school. We are currently one of the largest childcare sites in Hampshire.

All sites are OFSTED registered.

Our staff are dedicated, experienced and highly trained in all areas of children’s welfare and development.

We provide care for children aged 3 months to 14 years throughout the year and our opening times are 7.30am-6pm (excluding Bank Holidays).

Description

Early years is an important time for the long term development of a child, even more so in children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). It is therefore important there is no delay in supporting the child and their families in educational provision, any delay could result in further learning difficulties, loss of self esteem, frustration and behaviour problems later on in their education. Therefore early action is crucial for the future progress and ultimately improved outcomes i helping the child prepare for adult life.

At Dimension Childcare we have a dedicated Special Educational Co-ordinator (SENco) who will work closely with your child, yourselves and other agencies to ensure your child has the best experience whilst in our care

Our setting is fully inclusive and staff will respond to childrens individual needs. our manager and SENco will discuss any needs and requirements we will need to put into place before your child starts with us
