Isis Out of School Club - The Vyne Community School

We provide Breakfast, After school and Holiday childcare based at The Vyne Community School. This venue is close to the town centre and public transport networks.

Breakfast club opens at 7.30am and we leave to drop to various schools at approx 8.30am. Breakfast includes cereal, toast, crumpets, scrambled egg, beans, fresh fruit, fruit juice, water and milk. Children can choose activities and play until its time to leave for school.

After school club opens from school finish time and closes at 6pm. A light healthy snack is provided which can include, Popcorn, cereal, wraps, crumpets, toast and spreads, crackers, beans on toast, scrambled egg, fresh fruit and vegetables. Drinking water is always available.

Children choose activities and play until parents collect. Activities include, arts and crafts, den building, games and puzzles, construction, computers etc. We also get to use the outside space and sports hall for fresh air, sports and games.

Holiday club is open 8-6pm, all year round, apart from the week between Christmas and New Year. We plan activities to themes for example, Chinese New Year, Christmas, Easter. Children are free to choose and play, with adult led crafts and cooking planned each day. We invite visitors into club to give the children the best experiences, for example, African drumming, craft, circus skills. We also take the children into the local area, to the cinema, bowling, crazy golf and further a field to Country Parks, Birdworld etc

There is always a staff member onsite whom has a childcare qualification and all staff, as a minimum have first aid, safeguarding and food hygiene certificates. All staff have Enhanced DBS checks.
