Tracey Swyer - Hightown Childcare

Welcome to Hightown Childcare!

We are a small family run home-based setting. We pride ourselves in delivering a home from home approach to childcare, working alongside parents to give children the very best start in life.

Our setting is based in the beautiful town of Ringwood. When we're not out and about in the community, we are exploring toys in the playroom or getting creative in our chill out space.

At Hightown Childcare, I (Tracy) work alongside my two daughters, Sophie and Grace.

I am a loving mother to my three children and Nanny to my wonderful grandchildren. I have been working in childcare for over eighteen years, during this time I have been a network childminder, manager of a nursery and lead SENCO at a pre-school. I love every part of childcare and can honestly say I have the best job in the world!

My daughter Sophie is now working alongside me at Hightown Childcare. She is currently going through the registration process, to become a registered childminder in her own right. Previously, Sophie has worked as a support worker for children with additional needs in the EYFS department within a school for children with SEN and more recently as a teaching assistant.

My youngest daughter Grace is a caring mother to her beautiful son. Grace is in the process of completing her level 3 in Early Years. She has chosen to pursue a career in childcare as she has loved bringing her son up and wants to give other parents the opportunity to go to work knowing that their child is being left in a safe and loving environment.
