Freedom School Holidays is for all children within the school years 2-6. Children with additional needs can usually be catered for depending on specific needs. Please contact prior to ensure we're able to assist and support your child's particular needs.

We provide your children with a sense of independence and freedom, in a safe environment. We deliver high quality and affordable childcare, which helps to support your work and lifestyle patterns. You can feel confident that your children are in a fun, safe and stimulating environment.

All activity days are co-ordinated and led by a fully qualified primary school teacher with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Sports Coaching. All staff are DBS registered; have relevant childcare experience and the qualifications needed to deliver the activities in which they lead.

What does your service do?

Freedom School Holidays enables your child and their friends to be free to choose their own activities and allows them to take control of their own time. This includes the opportunity to take part in new and exciting activities for leisure, pleasure and fun whilst building social skills, self-esteem and confidence. We have over 25 different activities for them to choose from in a secure and safe location led my motivating staff.

We cover all areas of Waterlooville and Portsmouth.

How are decisions made about who can use your service?

As long as we're within maximum capacity, can cater for your child should they have SEN and your child is within the age range then spaces are generally always available with no restrictions. Please note poor behaviour will not be tolerated and children will be asked to be collected by parent/carer.

How do you communicate with service users and how are they involved in decision making?

Communication is made through local schools, social media, email and website trafficking. Parent questionnaires, comment slips and social media reviews and completed to ensure high standards.

Is your service fully accessible?

Yes - no stairs. Disabled toilet available.

What training are the staff supporting children and young people with SEN and Disabilities had or are having?

All activity days are co-ordinated and led by a fully qualified primary school teacher with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Sports Coaching. All staff are DBS registered; have relevant childcare experience and the qualifications needed to deliver the activities in which they lead. Staff have a wide range of experience in assisting and working with children with all needs. T

How will I know my child is safe?

Our setting is completely secure as it's a school setting. Adults will be staffing all areas in which children have access to. School gates ensure nobody is able to gain entry or leave the site once the sessions have begun. Another member of staff will be manning the school office all day to ensure nobody has managed to access the site without admission.
