Therapeutic Horsemanship Centre specialise in tailored one- to- one sessions for adults and children to enable safe and supported access to one of our ponies, to stroke and groom.

We cater for children and adults with a range of difficulties, including anxiety, ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties, dementia etc.

We aim to support our participants to develop their confidence, communication, social skills and improve both physical and mental health.

We achieve this through one-to-one sessions where our participants can interact with our ponies and help with daily care routines, e.g., mucking out, filling hay and water troughs, at a level appropriate to each individual.

For those who wish to expand their knowledge we offer short one-to-one horsemanship courses to learn about tack, health, nutrition, handling, and behaviour etc. Participants will receive a certificate and rosette on completion of their chosen topic.

We welcome all ages and abilities and offer other activities including bird watching, gardening, arts and crafts, and scavenger hunts and herd watching.
