Rushmoor Voluntary Services
- Supporting people with:
- Community safety, crime and anti-social behaviour
- Parenting / family support
- Adults out of work
- Education, training and development
RVS provides information and advice about community projects and services that offer a range of leisure and social activities. This includes the chance to engage in local activities and providing support for disadvantaged residents and families.
We run projects that provide support to older people such as home help, gardening and transport. Our Volunteer Centre places local people into voluntary work and lists volunteering opportunities available with other organisations and projects based in Rushmoor. Our community transport scheme provides minibus transport to enable mobility and transport for general outings, clubs and events and dial a ride. Our two mental health support projects support people with mental ill health by providing information, support and volunteering opportunities.
