Unit 12 - Community Food Pantry

The Pantry initiative is designed to support people with food deprivation, helping them to escape or move on from their current emergency with a ‘helping hand’ approach. 

The Unit 12 Pantry in Partnership with RCS. It provides a holistic approach in servicing the needs of the community as it gives additional support on budgeting, wellbeing, adult learning and employment.

Food provided in the pantry will be fresh, frozen and general foods. 

What is the Pantry?

A Pantry is “get more for less”. It is to help and encourage families that need a little bit of support to manage and budget through these tough times. We aim to help many local residents on a weekly basis.

What will you find in our Pantry?

You will find a range of fresh, frozen and general foods. This will change on a weekly basis, based on what we received in from our suppliers. Occasionally, we will have giveaway items.

How to purchase Pantry goods?

You pay a £5 membership per shop, receiving goods valued at £15 plus(limited to 1 shop a week)

What does the Unit 12 CIC Pantry offer as an extra?

Here at Unit 12, we realise that not all local residents find it easy to get around on transport. To help we are offering a delivery service to those who need extra support. There is a small delivery charge of £1.50 (up to 5 miles)

How do I sign up?

Signing up is simple. please fill out the form on our website as soon as possible and someone will contact you with your membership number.

Opening hours

Our opening hours are 10am-2pm Monday and Thursday. if the request is outside these hours then please email us on cfp@unit-12.com.

Each week there is a weekly meal deal provided with a recipe to help everyone have a wholesome meal.
