Denmead Day Care was established in March 2010, located within Denmead, due to lack of flexible early years education in the local area. It offers an excellent location for parents in the village and surrounding areas, Denmead Day Care is the only nursery setting in Denmead that offers childcare from 7:15 am until 6 pm for children aged 0-4 years. It is also extremely close to the village schools with whom we have created an excellent relationship with and offer Breakfast and Afterschool club and Holiday Club.
DDC Wrap offers breakfast and after school care for the children of Denmead Junior School, we are open from 07:15 am until school starts and then from 3:30 pm till 6 pm.
Our mission is to help children develop their full potential through positive social, emotional, physical and intellectual experiences. We endeavour to prepare children for school by developing their self-confidence and social skills, and we aim to maintain high standards of childcare, whilst making sure there is a provision for input by carers and parents so that all feel a sense of adequacy and fulfilment. We believe that by working closely and in harmony with the local schools and education providers we can provide a seamless passage into the education system which will enable children to adjust more easily, allowing them to fully maximise their potential.
